Marguerite Chen (age 18, student)
Alian (age 26, stockbroker) Hsiao Bai (age 28, magazine editor)
Peter (age 19, student) William (age 25, student) Sky (age 25, website designer)

1.Where is the best place to meet people of the opposite sex?

On an airplane or while traveling.
-Sophie Jow (female, no age or occupation given)

At a language school, because I think it is the best and safest place to meet men.
-Marguerite Chen (female, age 18, student)

In a bookstore, because men who like to read are more likely to be intellectual and better conversationalists.
-Alian (female, 26, stockbroker)

In a pub. I think people who go to pubs are more open and friendly. Since everyone is trying to blow off some steam just like me, we can all go crazy together.
-Sky (male, 25, website designer)

I like music very much. So, I like to meet people at concerts, because I think it is easier to get along if we share the same interests.
-William (male, 25, student)

2.What's your favorite pick-up line?

"Do you know of any good restaurants nearby?"
-Jill Lin (female, no age or occupation given)

I think the best pick-up line is no pick-up line. Just look into each other's eyes to find out if there is an attraction.
-Marguerite Chen (female, 18, student)

If I see someone I would like to meet in a bookstore, I would probably ask him if he had read a particular book.
-Alian (female, 26, stockbroker)

"I noticed you the moment you walked in, and I'd like to get to know you better."
-Hsiao Bai (female, 28, magazine editor)

Asking the time is a good way to break the ice.
-Peter (male, 19, student)

3.What is the best Valentine's gift given or received?

The best gift is a smile.
-Margeurite Chen (female, 18, student)

A good book.
-Sophie Chow (female, no age or occupation given)

Spending quality time together, such as a romantic dinner at a favorite restaurant.
-Alian (female, 26, stockbroker)

Something simple like one rose and a card with a personalized love message.
-Hsiao Bai (female, 28, magazine editor)

I like to receive something I can wear or use every day. So, not only can I wear or use something that reminds me of her, but I can also save some money.
-Peter (male, 19, student)
