VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
If you are still stuck with the impression that vegetarian
food is only vegetables, tofu and white rice, I suggest
you visit Hua Yuan Vegetarian Teahouse. You will be
stunned. About 10 years ago, shop owner Miss He had
an unusual new vegetarian idea – that vegetarian
food does not equal crude tea and bland rice. Rather,
she has pursued the goals of making healthy, delicious,
nutritious and diverse dishes. After owning a shop
for 12 years, and receiving eager guidance from others,
she has now reached the level where all of her dishes
are beautiful, aromatic and flavorful, no matter whether
they are teas, meals or snacks. The Lotus Hotpot has
the natural flavors of seasonal fruits and vegetables.
The noodles in the Black Pepper Spicy Noodles are from
a secret recipe, and are tasty, smooth and chewy. The
shop owner especially suggests the Five Jewels Fried
Rice, another unique dish made with sunflower seeds,
pine nuts, barley, white rice and brown rice. The five
flavors blend into a healthy meal. After your meal,
or for afternoon teatime, order a non-greasy whole
wheat pancake and drink a cup of avocado milk or longan
milk tea. Afterwards, you can sit in the back garden
and listen to the flocks of sparrows chirp in the old
tree. Fresh, flavorful, non-oily and non-greasy can
also be used to describe an easygoing life!
