In recent years, the number of Taiwanese traveling, studying and immigrating abroad continues to grow, even as we see more foreigners living in Taiwan. Everyone recognizes the significant changes in lifestyles and attitudes that this has brought, particularly represented by the all-time popularity of organizing private functions and parties among people of all ages.

Previously, parties always felt like "somebody else's" get-together. However, thanks to the influence of the media, which is fond of reporting fashionable, themed celebrity parties at homes, the idea of private dress-code parties has slowly spread into everyday life for all of us. A key to hosting a fabulous party, though, is the host choosing the right location, being able to diversify the party atmosphere so that guests can flaunt their fancy wardrobes, and impressing others with their own creativity.

On New Year's Eve, a very successful theme party, titled "Be wild, New Year's Eve Party", was held at Santorini. The evening's female host had organized over three private parties at the same location before, so she knew how to make good use of the space. By joining the three rooms on the third floor, she turned that part of the restaurant into an area for guests to dance and play roulette and cards in, plus a sofa area simply for lounging and relaxing. She also made great use of space on the top floor. Combining a gorgeous view overlooking the WuQuan Parkway (near the Art Museum) and an atmosphere exuding vibes of the Aegean Sea, this rooftop location was used for a barbecue and mini-bar area, so that friends could enjoy fine wining and dining while catching up and enjoying the beautiful starry night!

The chef at Santorini devoted a lot of passion towards creating some authentic Greek cuisine for the party. He even personally oversaw the barbecue grill, ensuring that the meat was grilled to perfection. Needless to say, this personal "Chef BBQ Show" gave the New Year's Eve Party an additional classy, entertaining flair.

Why not invite friends and family to your own theme party? Don't deny yourself the chance to have a fabulous event!
