Ha Shao VIP Restaurant

Ha Shao VIP Restaurant

12, Lane 118, YongFu Rd; (04) 2463-0707
Open: 24 hours
Credit cards accepted. 10% service charge.

Open since the end of July, Ha Shao VIP Restaurant is a little place with a lot to offer. The Chef's Signature Set Meal (NT$599) includes a choice of main course dishes like beef, lamb, or fish. Their Pu-Ye Beef is a quality sirloin steak that's grilled, simmered, wrapped in a Pu-Ye leaf, and then finally baked. The whole dish takes about 10 minutes to finish, and is topped with a multi-layered sauce that has a hint of Japanese He-feng flavor. One appetizing salad selection is the Fresh Fruit Salad with Yoghurt. Broiled goods are mostly seafood. Soup selections include fish, miso, and garlic clams. Appetizers include the tasty Sesame Tomato Platter. The Salmon Steamed Rice set meal comes with fresh watermelon juice, seasonal fruit and yoghurt. Barbecue your own meal with a NT$599 set or NT$399 a la carte meal. During the week, business lunch deals are only NT$250. While waiting for your food, you can play a little Wii or sing some karaoke too, and there are also about 10 rooms for private parties. --By Lishea Zheng, translated by Ann Lee
