With an unbeatable offer of five-star quality dishes at affordable prices, Forest Steak House is a great place to go for a beefy set meal. Their Classic Set Meal comes with a serving of Chicken Caesar Salad and a handmade dessert. The Exquisite Meal comes with soup, garlic bread, a drink and a main course. Guests get to choose from eight carefully prepared main-course dishes, but don't be surprised at the lack bottled sauces (like A1 or chili sauce), or even black pepper or mushroom sauce; all of their steaks are hand-seasoned with exclusive ingredients so you won't need sauces. Their Spicy Shrimp & Clam Pasta (Angel Hair/NT$230) is one of the many delicious pasta dishes. For set meals, you can choose from filleted steaks, ribeyes, spring chicken, drumstick rolls, or Matsusaka pork. --By Lishea Chen, translated by Ann Lee

A. The Fisherman's Stew Mixed Seafood (NT$180) cooks for about 12 hours before it's ready to be served. The seafood broth is full of fresh ingredients like shrimp, scallops, squid, clams, and fish.

B. The Pan-Fried Salmon with Sauce comes with a unique, flavorful dressing, that has a mild, fruity flavor.
