Jiou Fu Vegetarian Buffet Restaurant (WenXin Branch)

259, WenXin Rd, Sec 4
停業 Closed

Even though the sign notes that this restaurant is completely vegetarian, it is quite common to see meat-eaters and non-meat-eaters sharing tables and entrees at Jiou Fu. The chefs have experience working in large Taipei hotels, so their expertise really complements the ingredients, which are all home-grown. Some of their popular dishes include: Braised Bitter Squash (苦瓜燒), Grilled Mashed Potatoes, Pi-Sih Soup(皮絲湯) made with Chinese medicinal spices, and Stir-fried Seasonal Vegetables. The buffet restaurant charges customers by weight--NT$18 for every 100 grams. If you tend to eat a lot, they also have an all-you-can-eat deal for NT$199. In addition, the restaurant provides group lunch box deliveries, banquet facilities, and a catering service. Plus, all moms can eat for free on Mother's Day. --By Niang Chen, translated by Ann Lee
