With an Italian country-style ambiance and convenient location, Mi Jiue Italian Kitchen has attracted a large number nearby office workers for lunch and dinner. A la carte orders (around NT$200) come with black or green tea. The set meal (add NT$85) comes with soup, bread, salad, a drink and dessert. A dozen or so popular past a dishes here include smoked chicken, shrimp, and cream & bacon. Au gratin baked dishes, including Salmon & Spinach Rice and Meatball Lasagna, are also good choices. Every dish here is made-to-order with pure olive oil, and without the use of artificial seasoning, so freshness is guaranteed. The experienced chefs make the sauces themselves from fresh tomatoes and dozens of other natural ingredients. Besides pasta, they also have Japanese meal sets, gourmet coffee, and a range of non-alcoholic beverages. Afternoon tea offers sandwiches, salads, waffles and cakes (NT$99-NT$129, with a drink). --By Ann Li, translated by Ann Lee
