Well-known for its high quality, the Wang Steak House Group is opening up a new restaurant called Pin Tian Ranch, which specializes in pork. More than a dozen creative dishes are offered by the chefs here and include affordable, tasty pork chops. On weekdays, try their Joyful Meal Set (NT$230) which comes with an appetizer, main course and a side dish. The Energy Meal Set (NT$330), comes with salad, dessert and a beverage. --By Niang Chen, translated by Ann Lee

A. Pork Chops with Cheese & Bacon is made by stuffing a lighter, softer cheese, as well as bacon and seaweed, into the chop. The meat is then fried to a golden crisp.

B. Pork Chop Stuffed with Squid features pork formed into a ball, fried and mixed with dried bonito and tangy squid pieces. This dish has a slightly tangy flavor as it is served with a wasabi-flavored mayonnaise.
