Since their 2004 opening, the proprietors of Longmen have never used any form of advertisement to promote themselves. Even so, they've still generated a large local base due solely to word of mouth. This restaurant offers hundreds of vegetarian buffet dishes daily, so that guests can take what they like, and as much as they like.
There are a variety of choices here, including: Chinese vegetarian cuisine, fried noodles, spaghetti, curry potatoes, Cantonese snacks, and a salad bar. The self-serve hot pot area offers a selection of ingredients served in your choice of broth. Ingredients include: vegetarian meatballs, green bean noodles, dumplings, and fresh vegetables. What's more, the sauces that come with these pots are specially made to be great additions to the soup.
The range of desserts here is also quite diverse; choose anything from Taiwanese-style ice shavings, cold beverages and Hong Kong sweet cakes, to the chef's recommended "Agar with Black Sesame". All these wonderful treats will cost you next to nothing. Come during the week and pay only NT$120 per person. On weekends, NT$150 gets you an unlimited vegetarian feast.
