This restaurant features a low-key metallic-gray interior design that is highlighted by various black-beaded curtains and white Buddha statue decorations. With the soft sunlight falling through the large windows into the spacious dining area, Easy House seems to live up to its name.

Here, the chef's skilled hands produce a variety of exotic and healthy vegetarian dishes, all prepared according to the principle of using little or no processed ingredients and small amounts of oil and salt. The menu can be split into three main categories--Relaxation Pot Dish Meal Sets (NT$420), Bliss Main Course Meal Sets (NT$370), and Joy Hot Pot Meal Sets (NT$400). Entrees can also ordered separately. Meal sets come with a glass of Vegetable & Fruit Energy Juice, made from 50 types of vegetables and fruit, plus salad, soup of the day, bowl of multigrain rice, fruit and dessert.

Recommended courses include the Milky Vegetable Hot Pot, which includes various mushrooms and other healthy ingredients like Jew's ear mushrooms and Chinese red dates. This pot is aromatic and delightful, thanks to its perfect combination of milk, soup stock and flavors from the various ingredients. The tofu in the Sichuan Tofu Casserole (NT$420) is cooked in a Sichuan-style sauce and then seasoned with a bit of fermented rice to bring out its sweetness. This layering of flavors creates an elegant course suitable for adult palates. Another recommendation is the Mushroom and Truffle Rice (NT$370). The rice is soaked with a truffle sauce and then stir-fried with mushrooms using just water. This egg-less and oil-less course is fresh and flavorful.

If you want to enjoy the healthy benefits of a vegetarian meal, but want are seeking a hearty, exquisite dining experience, be sure and head to Easy House Vegetarian Cuisine for a try.
