This restaurant only opened three months ago and every dish on its menu boasts authentic Thai flavors, a credit to the head chef, who has over 10 years of Thai cooking experience. The reasonable prices are another reason for the stream of regular, returning customers. --By Natasha, translated by Sho Huang

A. Those wanting to sample some well-known Thai dishes shouldn't miss the Fried Noodles with Prawn (NT$160) and Green Curry Chicken (NT$150), two dishes that most tourists seem to miss after visiting Thailand. Unlike many other restaurants, the chef cooks the Thai noodles without adding any water to preserve their distinctive texture. Green Curry Chicken uses thick, imported Thai coconut milk instead of diluted milk, and the spiciness and quantity of green curry can be carefully adjusted to most diners' liking.

Tai Xiang Thai FoodB. Tai Xiang Thai Food has also carefully designed set-menu meals catering to various group sizes. The four-person set menu (NT$598), for example, includes Salad with Green Papaya, Thailand Curry Chicken, Water Greenstuff Shrimp Sauce, Deep Fried Pepper Chicken Leg, Spicy Beef, and Tom Yum Seafood Soup. In addition, there is unlimited white rice and the Thai-style desserts are a treat at the end of a wonderful meal. Lunch and dinner prices are the same.
