Shining Salt Art Restaurant can seat up to 80 people in its bright, spacious interior, where piano performances help diners relax. The interior decor also features a colorful mural of the restaurant's mascots, the Salt Prince and Salt Princess, and a decorative rose salt column shines under the lights. Risotto with Seafood in Pesto Cream Sauce (NT$250) is made with healthy mixed-grain rice, giving it plenty of healthy fiber, plus huge shrimp and salmon, with added basil enhancing the flavors. Chef Li Jin-ji's recommendation is the Grilled Beef Steak & Roasted Chicken Leg Set (NT$460), a combo that will satisfy almost any diner. The sauce used in the BBQ Pork Rib & Seafood Penne au Gratin Set (NT$350) is made with dark chocolate, making this entree a favorite among young people. A set meal includes soup, drink, bread and salad. In addition to lunch and dinner, the restaurant also provides weekend-only afternoon tea which includes salty and sweet pizzas and panini (NT$180-200). Shining Salt Art Restaurant occasionally holds art and culture exhibitions for those who love music, dance, drama, photography and pottery. --By Wang Xiao-ling, translated by Angel Pu
