In a creative move, Bug & Bee has combined Thai flavors with Chinese cooking methods and Western-style food presentation and toppings. This branch restaurant from Thailand offers salads, Thai rice, crepes, smoothies and desserts (NT$90-420). A. Diners will experience the spiciness of Thai cuisine when they order the Prawn & Toddy Palm Fruit Thai Salad (NT$220). Its specially-made fish sauce goes perfectly with the spicy flavors and enhances the fresh shrimp. The crispy coconut imported from Thailand also has an exceptional taste.
B. Curry Crab Crepe (NT$250) features curry and a delicious crab leg wrapped in a French-style crepe. The crab flavor is highlighted by the sweet and spicy curry and various spices. Another dish, Spinach Crepe Lasagne in Italian Tomato Sauce (vegetarian, NT$280) contains layers and layers of crepes, tomato sauce and spinach paste--making this creative, completely handmade dish time-consuming to prepare but very well worth the effort.
