English/Chinese menu.

Nestled along DaRong West Street, just east of Wenxin Road, Sec. 2, Payless serves healthy, authentic--and inexpensive--American food. This includes a range of all-American entrees such as burgers, pasta, soups, chicken quesadillas, hot spicy bowls of chili, salads and wraps. There are 14 different burgers (NT$200-280), including two lamb burgers, and all patties are handmade. Customers can also choose from many pasta dishes, from the classic Tomato Basil with Shrimp to the Lemon Mushroom pasta. The atmosphere has a classic American feel with its black-and-white checked floor, American flags and music. Co-owner Stephanie Gu is proud to offer tasty, healthy, oil-free fare, as well as good service. She adds that the menu will receive regular monthly updates. --By Elizabeth Dietrich, translated by Angel Pu
