Beiping Road is undoubtedly one of Taichung's biggest clusters of small, reasonably-priced restaurants. Besides the places you may have heard of before, there are even more dining gems waiting to be discovered along this road and connecting lanes and alleys.

"You can achieve whatever you want, as long as you work hard," says the owner here, who worked in the hardware industry but decided to open a restaurant because of his passion for food. One of the unique features that distinguishes this place from other Beiping Road restaurants is its high-end atmosphere. Popular dishes include Milk Chicken with Garlic (NT$110), Stir-Fried Seafood and Beef (NT$160), and Salted Fish (NT$150). Seafood with Cashew Nuts (NT$170) contains various ingredients such as squid, salmon, tuna, shrimp, onions, celery, mushrooms, and a handful of cashew nuts. Salmon Fried Rice (NT$90) is very appetizing, thanks to the high-quality salmon. Boneless Chicken Leg (NT$100) is flavorful, crispy, and goes well with the freshly-made side dishes offered here. The free Chinese pickles are pretty spicy, so think twice before grabbing too many.
