Surrounded by lush bamboo, Kurokabe offers creative Japanese cuisine in a beautifully-constructed, Western-style building. This private-feeling old house features that unique Japanese tranquility and exclusive atmosphere that allows diners to enjoy a pleasant dining experience of exquisite dishes such as plump shrimp, grilled beef and fish. The partitions between every dining space are adjustable, allowing one to feel the close attention the restaurant pays to the little details.

Set meals for one person (NT$680, 980, 1,280, 1,980, depending on entrees) include 7-8 dishes such as sashimi, a fried dish, stew, sushi, and soup. Different entrees include Herb Pork, Beef with Foie Gras, Teppanyaki Rib-eye, Scallop Hobayaki, and other seasonal seafood items. The chefs can also customize set meals according to diners' budgets.

KUROKABE Japanese Brasserie Grilled Rosy Sea Bass (seasonal price) is only seasoned with salt to emphasize its tender texture and original flavor.
KUROKABE Japanese Brasserie The beef of the Boneless Beef Spareribs (NT$980/set) is grilled on a Yulan magnolia leaf with some sweet and salty white miso. The aromatic magnolia leaf gives the beef a unique and refreshing flavor.
KUROKABE Japanese Brasserie Kurokabe also provides business lunch sets (NT$480) that include sashimi, Fruit and Shrimp Salad, Teriyaki Chicken, Grilled Mackerel Rice, Cuttlefish with Asparagus Eggroll, and a Steamed Egg.
KUROKABE Japanese Brasserie Shrimp with Elephant Yam Jelly (seasonal price) contains steamed shredded elephant yam jelly and big plump and juicy shrimp.
KUROKABE Japanese Brasserie Assorted Sashimi Platter is presented on a boat-like platter, filled with a variety of seafood and sashimi such as Hamour fish sashimi, prawns, tuna, scallops and tuna roe and conveyed to diners' mouths.
