Run by friendly Taiwanese owner Amanda, Ganesh offers authentic Northern and some Southern Indian dishes made by two Indian chefs who have many years of experience working at 5-star hotels in the city of Jalandhar, in Punjab state.

This two-floor restaurant accomodates about 50 people, with some Indian decorations and background music helping create a suitably exotic ambiance. The menu includes starters (NT$50-230) and Tandoori entrees (NT$50-290) with various meat and fish variations, while main courses (NT$200-310) provide seafood, mutton, chicken, cottage cheese, vegetarian and beef options. The "Rice" menu category has a variety of rice dishes, from basic Steamed Rice (NT$25) to Mutton Biryani (NT$320). Indian Naan bread (NT$40-150), the Rice Keer dessert (NT$70), hot drinks and soft drinks are also available. It's worth noting that the spiciness of every dish is adjustable--just inform the staff about your preference in advance.

l Lunch is only served Monday to Friday and includes Dal Palak Curry (NT$139), salad, rice and Lassi yogurt drink, or a choice from among fish, beef, mutton, chicken, vegetarian or Chana chickpea entrees (NT$199), with Dal lentil soup, rice, salad, Lacha Parantha flat bread and Lassi.

A very popular Indian buffet dinner (NT$388, or NT$320 for vegetarian-style) is also available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and features 17 all-you-can-eat/drink items, including Naan bread, Dal soup, two different rice dishes, salad, Rice Keer dessert, soda, and Lassi.
