This restaurant and bar is ideally located on Taiwan Boulevard (Taichung Port Rd.) about 50 meters below (southeast) the Calligraphy Greenway intersection and offers an all-day and late-evening spot for dining and drinks. Main courses include pasta and risotto dishes, calzone, 10-inch thin-crust pizzas (NT$250-380), grilled entrees like the thick US Bone In Beef Short Ribs (NT$680), tapas-style appetizers, and all-day brunch-type dishes like Bacon Eggs Benedict. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Angel Pu

A. AOP (Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino) Shrimp Spaghetti (NT$250) is one of several savory pasta entrees made dry-style with garlic, olive oil and chillis and no sauce, pictured here with the popular Italian Salami Calzone.
