Located on SOGO Department Store's fourth floor, Movenpick serves not only ice cream, but also various dishes such as Spanish-style appetizers, salads, set meals, pasta made with durum wheat, and a local female favorite--honey toast dessert. Until June 30, an opening promotion offers any signature chef's set meal for two for NT$1,498 (originally NT$2,170), or any classic set meal for two for NT$888 (originally NT$1,280), with a free serving of Norway Smoked Salmon. A. Tapas with Sausage and Pepper (NT$180) is made with sausage tomato salsa, salami and jack cheese on top of a black-olive baguette.

B. Braised Beef Shank (NT$650)--marinaded with Burgundy red wine and then slow-cooked--is tender and aromatic.
