Owner Sedona Tseng ran a Tex-Mex eatery in Taoyuan for three years but, preferring Taichung's sunnier weather, moved south to open this place. She offers a good range of authentic, tasty and low-priced Tex-Mex fare, all made with imported American seasonings. Other items include four Healthy Chicken Rice Combos (NT$80), NT$130 sandwiches, crispy finger foods, beers (NT$120-150) and NT$150 Margaritas. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Angel Pu
A. Customers can sit at inside or outside tables or at the small bar at this cozy hang-out, jazzed up with lively Latin music.
B. Popular items include the chicken, beef or pork NT$80 tacos (pictured right) or NT$150 Burritos Supreme, stuffed with sour cream, salsa, healthy purple rice, cheese, olives, tomatoes and other ingredients. There are also five regular-sized NT$80 burritos, such as the Fisherman's Dream, made with imported deep-sea cod fish, plus a NT$65 Vegetarian Burrito.
