Originally from Nagoya, Japan, this restaurant offers reasonably-priced, Japanese-style deep-fried pork chops in a spacious dining area. The big menu includes various kinds of specialized set meals, such as the Lady Set (NT$250) for women with smaller appetites, Special Big Prawn Set (NT$400) for those wanting a big meal, and Children's Set (NT$180). --By Kana Huang, translated by Angel Pu

A. Crispy Pork Tenderloin Set (NT$330) uses pork that has been aged 3-4 days in an aging room, helping make it extra tender and juicy. The Pork Tenderloin Stew Set (NT$250) uses a Japanese pottery pot to lock in the juices and flavor. Add NT$30 to upgrade the miso soup to pork soup.

B. The dining area has a comfortable Japanese family-restaurant atmosphere.

C. The Yishilu House Set (NT$280) includes a deep-fried shrimp and pork chop entree with rice, shredded cabbage, side dish and miso soup. The crispy pork goes well with the sauce and the white sesame that diners can grind themselves.
