Located near the Science Museum, El Pajero offers a variety of good-quality food, including waffles, pancakes, lasagna, spaghetti, salads, ice cream, coffee and smoothies. With its "lucky bluebird" theme, El Pajero has a welcoming, friendly environment with big glass windows, quiet and relaxing music, an open kitchen, power outlets by each table, and a variety of seating options, from stools to sofas. --By Javier Siles, translated by Angela Cheng

A. El Pajero offers many comfortable corners.

B. The Hokkaido Sunrise Brunch Set (NT$158) comes with sausages, eggs, salad and a cup of tea or coffee. The Blue Bird Beef Rice (pictured, back) is prepared with a variety of herbs and marinated beef.

C. The Tutti Frutti Waffle (NT$198) is thicker than most waffles and made with high-grade Japanese flour and local free-range chicken eggs. It is served with cream, seasonal fruit and ice cream, a combination that allows diners to enjoy a mix of many different flavors.
