Ottawa, Canada native Ebon Carmichael has opened this relaxing gastropub, focusing on brunch, set meals, burgers, fish and chips, and bar food, all made from scratch with locally-sourced ingredients. Beverages include mixed drinks and reasonably-priced big bottles of beer (NT$75 Taiwan Beer, NT$100 Heineken). A. Regularly-changing daily-special set meals (market prices, in the NT$300 range) include a soup, dessert, drink and main course, like the pictured Baked Salmon with Spinach Salad on a bed of cooked millet. Also pictured is the Breakfast Crepe (NT$180), filled with mango and melon and drizzled with Creme Anglaise.

B. Chef/owner Ebon, a certified Red Seal Chef, poses with a Mixed Sampler (NT$280) platter with breaded and fried zucchini sticks, buffalo wings, jalapeno poppers, and lamb/beef/feta sausage rolls. Tuesdays are also NT$10 Wings Nights.

C. There is indoor/outdoor seating on the first floor, plus a mezzanine area with a small wooden bar and more seats.
