This cozy hang-out is located in the heart of "old Taichung", just down the street from sister hang-out Sakaecho Sense 1919. Food items include Bavaria Pork Knuckle (NT$450), Provence Fish (NT$420) and Angus Beef (NT$550), plus some pasta entrees (NT$240-280). --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Angela Cheng

A. A staff member--dressed for the World Cup matches that Sense 1919 shows live via a big projection screen every night--poses with the pizza-like Valencia Coca (NT$150), topped with Mozzarella cheese, bacon, ham, tomatoes and basil. There are Barcelona and Granada coca varieties available, too. Also pictured is the savory Roasted Pimento 1/2 Chicken (NT$380), one of the 5-6 tapas appetizers (NT$150) available, and a bottle of Superfuzz Blood Orange Pale Ale from Seattle's Elysian Brewing Co.

B. An international cornucopia of about 120 beers are available here. Estrella Damm beer from Barcelona is also on tap (NT$250).

C. A long wooden bar, black sofas and red-brick walls give this place a homey, relaxing vibe.
