This restaurant recently reopened with new owners introducing brighter lighting and an open kitchen, plus a new menu of creative Cantonese cuisine. Stir-fried and handmade items have been added to traditional Cantonese dishes such as rice rolls, congee, and barbecue pork. --Words and translated by S. Ying

A. Big windows allow diners and passers-by to watch Executive Chef Tony Song and his team in action.

B. New dishes include Roasted Chicken with Crispy Skin (NT$600/whole, NT$360/half),which takes over a day to marinate and prepare; Stir-Fried Beef Rice Noodles (NT$160), combining handmade rice noodles and tender beef slices; and Ka Fei Beef Short Ribs (NT$280), cooked in a special blend of white sauce and curry paste.

C. Starry Rice Rolls with Signature Sauce (NT$80) are handmade daily and presented with a beautiful star-like arrangement. Each bite of Special Prawn Pockets wrapped in Dragon Whiskers (NT$130/piece)--served in a piece of fresh lettuce and drizzled with mango sauce--blends thin shreds of crunchy flour whiskers, refreshing lettuce and delicious prawn.
