Besides beef noodles, this noodle restaurant offers the unique Beef Steak Noodles. The six-ounce US Prime grass-fed steak is hormone and antibiotic free, and served in a bowl separate from the thin noodles with huge carrot and turnip chunks and green veggies. It arrives hot at your table via a pushcart with a pot on a burning stove. The soup is brewed for hours with veggies and beef bones, making it extra savory, while the steak, presented on a white porcelain plate, is paired with fried garlic slices and sprinkled with rose salt. A set-meal upgrade, only NT$40 more, includes a handmade dessert, drinks and two appetizers, bringing the total price to a reasonable NT$239-269. --By Sharon Chang, translated by S. Ying
