This spacious, cultured-feeling restaurant's interior is well-illuminated by sunshine and features a high ceiling and French windows. Carefully-selected ingredients include a century-old famed Italian brand of olive oil, and 100% durum wheat pasta noodles. The menu includes steaks (from NT$360) and pasta entrees (from NT$185). Add NT$130 to any dish for a set meal with bread, soup, desserts such as tiramisu and handmade panna cotta, and beverages like herbal tea, soft drinks and coffee, or other menu drinks with a NT$65 discount. --By Sharon Chang, translated by Anna Yang

A. The juicy, well-marbled 14-ounce Pan-Fried US Angus Choice Sirloin Steak (NT$980) is the size of two palms, smells wonderful after grilling, and is served with fresh vegetables.

B. NiNi is elegant during the day and romantic and relaxing at night.

C. Spaghetti with Duck in Garlic and Chili Olive Oil (NT$270), made with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, chilies and peppers that provide strong, delicious flavors that balance the sauteed duck well.
