Shifang Veggarden

(04) 2437-6511
3, SongZhu Rd, Sec 1, Beitun Dist
Hours: 11:30 am-2 pm, 5:30-8:30 pm

This vegetarian buffet-style restaurant, located near Dakeng Scenic Area's Trail No. 9, offers a vast green lawn area, elegant surroundings and fresh, low sodium/carb seasonal delicacies. There are nearly 40 dishes offered each day, including Stir-Fried Nest Ferns, Gojiberry Waterlilies, Bitter Melon with Egg Yolk, Deep-Fried Enoki Mushrooms, seasonal cold plates, western and Japanese salads, boiled freshly-picked vegetables, desserts (both vegetarian and lacto-ovo-vegetarian ingredients), soups, freshly-squeezed juices, sliced fruit, and Brazilian coffee. The variety of natural ingredients used here ensure that diners enjoy flavorful meals with the ordinary-looking dishes provided. In an environmentally-friendly concept, customers can clean off their dishes in a sink instead of grabbing new ones. The buffet is NT$420 per person and senior citizens who are 85 or older brought by customers can dine for free. --By Niang Chen, translated by Anna Yang
