0988-310-124
52, BoGuan Rd, North Dist
Hours: 11 am-9:30 pm, Sat-Sun 10 am-10 pm (closed Tue-Wed)

The two owners of this restaurant, Darren and Janice, met at a musical event and decided to open this British-style restaurant, with yoga classes also led by Janice on the second floor. Whether they visit for dining or yoga, customers are welcomed by a romantic, cozy and friendly atmosphere. British-style dishes, from handmade desserts to pizzas and sandwiches, are healthy and cheese-free (add NT$20 for cheese). The hearty DJ's British Brunch (NT$269) includes English crumpets, bacon, turmeric scrambled eggs, cole slaw and baked diced potatoes. Made with Darren's grandmother's secret recipe, the pancakes and chewy, fragrant and pair well with other foods. Firm, handmade scones (two for NT$130), prepared with little sugar or salt and only a pinch of baking soda, are wonderful with a few dabs of homemade lemon curd. Authentic-flavored Lemon Drizzle Cake (NT$150/3 slices) and No Milk Healthy Carrot Cake are also available. Every customer gets one trial yoga class for NT$200 and any further single lesson is NT$300 (NT$2500 for 10-lesson package). --By Uvia Chang, translated by Anna Yang
