118, QingHai South St, Xitun Dist
Hours: 11:30 am-2pm, 2:30-4:30 pm, 5:30-9:30 pm

This garden restaurant truly stands out with a building that resembles a giant white grand piano, complete with cypress-lined keyboard pathway. Inside, a tranquil, graceful ambiance is created with a skylight-lit cathedral-like ceiling, beautiful glass elevator and classical music. Handmade European set meals (NT$980-1800) include an entree, bread, salad, soup, dessert and drink. Stewed Beef Plate (P.W.F Style) is a top entree, made with tender beef cheek that isn't overcooked or over-seasoned. There is also a Vegetarian Set (NT$460) and a la carte dishes, with a new menu being created every three months. Highly recommended is the Afternoon Tea Set (NT$900) with 12 handmade sweet and tart desserts displayed on a special piano-like double-tiered stand. Customers are welcome to perform on the restaurant piano, as are free musical group performances (by reservation). --Words and translated by Yinno Yeh
