LE CANAPE

8, XiangShang Road, Section 1
停業 Closed

Soft, relaxing music puts guests in a warm, pleasant state of mind when they visit Le Canape, which is exactly what this place aims for. The atmosphere is totally laid-back, as guests sit on the couches, savoring the cuisine, sipping wine and chatting with friends. The staff offers a NT$1,200 bottle of red wine as the winning prize for "Bluffing Game" that staff play with guests. Highly-recommended here is a Chilean wine, 2003 Cousino Machul Antiguas Reserve (NT$1,500), with a thick and fruity, yet smooth, taste. Another popular selection is the Californian 2004 Kendall Jackson Collage Cabernet Shiraz (NT$1,200). There is a a buy-two-get-one-free deal for bottles of wine available, too. A cheese platter is provided "on the house". The Le Canape Cocktail (NT$300), containing vodka, ginger ale, cocoa and cherry brandy, is a perfect drink for ladies, with its warm, sweet taste sensations. Various juices and soft drinks are also available. Besides beverages, some tasty side dishes are available, such as Mexican Spicy Chicken Wings (NT$180) and Garlic Spicy Mushrooms (NT$150).
