Looking at the trendy white exterior of Show House on DaGuan Road, it's not hard to imagine all of the glamour that's inside this night club, which offers diverse entertainment programs that are anything but dull. Open from 8 p.m. to 4 .a.m. throughout the week with extra hours on weekends, performances at Show House start at 8:30 p.m. and go until the wee hours of the morning. The dazzling stage is attached to a colorful dance floor and a seating area, so there's a lot of interaction between the performers and the audience--don't be surprised either when the dancers invite you to come shake it with them.
Right now, Show House is holding performances by the Formosa Fairies and Eastern Europe Dance Group. Every three months, they change up their theme-based shows. Apart from the sumptuous dance displays, every now and then they present marvelous shows with even more audience participation. This fun-filled place also invites live bands to play at different times of the night and has some "disco times", so customers can get a little funky themselves.
To enter, there is a NT$800 cover charge which can be used towards drink and meal purchases. The drink selection here starts at NT$150; their meal offerings include Seafood Pasta with Tomato Sauce (NT$260) and other delicacies. If you're a first-timer to Show House, don't forget to check out the playbills set at each table. That way, you won't miss anything.
