Changex has consolidated its separate beer shop and restaurant into this new single location, just off YingCai Road near the Culture Center (turn in at Las Vegas Teppanyaki). Popular offerings include 15 creative 10-inch pizzas (NT$180-220) and 4-5 varieties of beer-flavored ice cream (NT$80/scoop, NT$90 for 3.5 oz. container). --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Angela Cheng

A. All-new menu items include Beer Shrimp (NT$300), with big juicy shrimp cooked in a pungent beer-based broth; and the addictive, delectable Beer Fried Chicken (NT$130), pictured here with a German draft Schneider Weisse beer (NT$210 500ml, NT$330 1,000ml). Other new offerings include breakfast-style sandwiches; pasta dishes like the playfully-named "Vegetarian Wolf" (NT$150, baked NT$190); and unique Fried Instant Noodles (NT$150, after 9 p.m.).

B. Customers can relax over food and beers in the warmly-lit, cozy dining area, also featuring a darts machine.

C. A massive selection of over 300 beers from about 20 countries are sold here and can be enjoyed for the same, lower retail prices in the restaurant.
