This warm and cozy place serves up savory food, beer and relaxing evenings from its comfortable location on a side street near the Taichung City Dadun Cultural Center. The highlight here is about 300 types of craft beers from Taiwan and all over the world, as well as rarely-seen draft beers. A variety of seasonally-changing special beers are also periodically introduced and the staff is more than happy to help beer connoisseurs--or confused beer novices--make selections.
Besides beers, the store also sells a myriad of food entrees for meal times or late-night snacks, whether you're dining by yourself or with friends. Pizza has become a customer favorite and includes some truly unique varieties worth trying, like the Candy Pizza and Fast Noodles Pizza. Another special item worth trying is the authentically-flavored Beer Gelato. Late-night snacks include grilled and stir-fried items that go well with beer and are great for sharing among a group. The stir-fried instant noodles available after 9 p.m. are also very popular.
If a visit here whets your appetite for learning more about beer, you are welcome to join the occasional beer introductions and tasting sessions, when professionals guide participants through appropriate ways to taste and enjoy beer and pair it with specific kinds of cuisine.
