The Bible story about Noah's Ark is well-known to all Christians and many others. Thanks to this ark, the animals survived a massive flood. Dr. Victor Chou, a Christian himself, has reserved a small space on the second floor of his clinic for a collection of children's drawing books and other types of reading materials he wants to share with the community. In creating this corner, named the Ark Children's Library, he hopes that visiting children can have a space of their own to enjoy some coloring and reading. The library is 20 pings large and has a collection of 1,800 books, suitable for children from ages 0 to 12 and free for all to read and enjoy. Children who are 6 or younger must be accompanied by an adult while visiting the library. There is also a 30-ping music hall with a piano to hold musical concerts for the community each season. On Saturday nights, there will be a story time session or seminars and fun activities relating to children's math and science subjects, ideal for both children and parents to participate in. Those interested in taking part in these family events may call for more information. Since the library is located on the clinic's second floor, there is an independent entrance for public access. Every night, the library is sterilized with Ultraviolet Rays (UV) to ensure a hygienic environment. --By Wen En-dian, translated by Ann Lee
