This year's Chinese New Year theme focuses on traditional crafts and ancient traditions. On Feb. 19 (lunar new year day), there will be performances, drawings for prizes, and red envelope gifts. On Feb. 20, there will be chess shows, a babies' crawling competition, and a fun traditional "bao bao zhua zhou" activity for one-year-old toddlers, which allows you to find out your baby's future by seeing what your baby chooses from among various items. On Feb. 22, there will be song performances and various shows. March 5 is also Chinese Valentine's Day, so traditional activities will include eating dumplings and rice balls plus guessing lantern riddles for fun. Visit the museum to experience Chinese New Year festivities and traditions, and welcome blessings for the Year of the Goat.
