Chingyan is a high-class clothing boutique that caters to fashion-loving men and women. In the industry for nearly a decade, owner Mr. Chen travels to Milan and Paris every season to pick out the finest items and famous brands that most Taiwanese consumers don't know much about. One men's brand, Kiminori, by a Japanese designer, focuses on leather goods and accessories and is famous for its detailed handiwork. Roar, a brand popular among current Japanese rock bands, has a punk rock attitude with delicate studs and unique hand-sewn designs. The store's manager recommends the Neil Barrett series, a collection of leather jackets and army-style clothing and jeans. Cut to fit body shape, the simple lines in this collection create an overall leaner look. For women, Sharespirt is an elegant line made mostly of leather wallets, fur, and snakeskin clothing; TsuTsu, another brand, is a casual collection which utilizes glittering colors, crystals and metal chains to create a unique, feminine look. All of the merchandise here is limited, so if you purchase something, it's unlikely you'll see anyone else wearing it--no matter where you go.
