Roya Thai Massage

Thaimia Roya Thai Massage

(04) 2221-0888
10, SanMin Rd, Sec 3
Hours: 1 pm-3 am
Credit cards accepted.

This Thai massage center is the fourth branch of Thaimia Royal Thai Massage chain and by far the largest of its kind in the city, with a total of 38 beds on six floors. Like its sister outlets, this SanMin Road branch (located between TaiPing Road and the Taichung Park) provides customers with an exquisitely attractive, five-star setting to match its services. From the lobby to the upstairs foot-massage area and individual rooms, Royal Thai is decorated liberally with gold colors, carved-stone Thai wall reliefs, lots of Thai art and other nice touches. The beautiful treatment rooms are available for one, two, three or four people. Similar to the other branches, there is a 120-minute, NT$1,800 Royal Thai Massage that includes: 1) foot cuticle scraping, 2) Royal Thai massage, 3) oil and heat treatment, 4) head and neck acupressure, and 5) body passive yoga. Other options include the NT$1,500, 90-minute Royal Thai Massage--which includes everything above except the oil and heat treatment--and the NT$500 abdominal health acupressure. Unique to the new branch are new French-style facial/beauty treatments, using European beauty products and available for women and men. Royal Thai, which also provides its information in English and Japanese, is popular with international visitors as well. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Ann Li
