This new Spanish wine shop is a natural development in the business partnership between Spanish-Taiwanese owners Oriol Ayne and David Liao, who started importing quality Spanish wine in 2013 out of personal interest, when Oriol was trying to find bottles of Luis Canas Crianza (which they still sell). This quickly grew into a larger Spanish wine business as wines from the La Rioja region were joined by others from Oriol's Catalonia home region. Their shop now stocks 96 different wines from 16 different Spanish winemakers, plus Moritz Beer from Barcelona and various Spanish liquors such as sherry, gin and vodka. They also offer Spanish extra virgin olive oil and food products, including Iberian and non-Iberian hams (which can be sliced at the shop). "We only import wines we love, ones we drink, and ones for reasonable prices," says Oriol, who adds that the shop will host regular events, including private dinners prepared by top-end Spanish chefs and wine tastings. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Anna Yang
