VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS
My acquaintance
with this restaurant went back many years ago. The first time I
set foot into this eatery was when my school chums from senior high
had a gathering. I am back at the same restaurant now after an absence
of several years. This time I am meeting my classmate from college,
it was like stepping back in time and the place brought on a sense
of nostalgia. Creative Restaurant has been around for 9 years. It
is located along the garden walk spanning the Arts Museum. With
the “here today gone tomorrow” restaurant & cafe scene in Taichung,
it is indeed no small feat for this eatery to be still up and running
for close to a decade. The Chinese name for this restaurant is “Donuts”
which is rather bizarre. The proprietor obviously named it after
the eatery’s specialty. The donuts here cost NT$50 each, a tad
pricey but you get what you pay for. These donuts are really yummy
as the texture is soft, moist and it melts in your mouth. It’s
hard to resist having seconds after you bit into your first. Afternoon
teas here ranged from NT$150 to NT$180 or you can just opt for donut
and beverage for NT$90.
