Hidden beside Taichung's busy ZhongGang (Taichung Port) Road, Match Cafe keeps the annoying traffic noises and fast urban pace of life at bay outside its doors. Inside, you'll only smell coffee and hear relaxing music as you feel yourself starting to slow down and relax.

At the cafe you are welcome to freely read books, write, ponder life or enjoy some chit-chat with friends. While doing all this, you can choose from various flavors of Italian coffee (NT$90-130), D&B organic tea from Germany (NT$110-130) and freshly-made juices (NT$100-160). In addition, as Match Cafe sometimes sells beer, beer-lovers can also enjoy themselves here. Their recommended exclusive coffee choice, "Xi Di Yao Latte", has subtle longan fruit flavor and a little background story that awaits your discovery.

The delicious food is, of course, as important as the coffee and Match Cafe provides healthy light meals (NT$65-95) and homemade desserts (NT$50-150) like cakes, cookies, chocolate and French-style Creme Brulee. Several set meals are also available for special prices, too.
Match Cafe also supports cultural activities and is the site of monthly, regular illustration or photography exhibitions. Every week there are also all kinds of group activities and occasional life-aesthetics classes. If you need a place to perform your music, have a party or hold a meeting, please feel free to contact Match Cafe, which is not just a coffee shop, but also a place with a good sense of culture.

Right: The coffee postcard--a bag of coffee is attached to each postcard here so that your faraway friends can enjoy it, too.
