This authentic-feeling British tea house, jointly opened by a Taiwanese woman and an English man, features retro, nostalgic decor, including all kinds of iron handicrafts and British-style lighting. Situated along Calligraphy Greenway, Soft Metal offers breakfast (from NT$168), afternoon tea, and creative desserts and cakes, elaborately displayed in the glass showcase. A. The British Afternoon Tea Set (NT$368 for 1 person; NT$700 for 2) includes cupcakes, fruit tarts, Madeleine/brownie, mousse cakes, creme brulee, scones and salty snacks.

B. This British-style tea house is situated along the beautiful Calligraphy Greenway.

C. English Sausage Panini (NT$268) is a street vendor snack that you can order to go. The fluffy panini bread contains English sausage, fried eggs, mozzarella cheese and fresh tomatoes, and the set includes baked potatoes with spices and cucumber salad.
