This three-storey community learning center has a creative approach to sparking original thought and artistic expression. The ground floor is a cafe/shop space with interesting books, vintage clothing and agricultural products on display. The top floor hosts a dance studio with a professional dance surface brought down from Taipei. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by S. Ying

A. Tasty pastries come from a kitchen in back, including this lovely Lemon Cream Cake (NT$90).

B. Professor Chang Jui-chuan loves to teach to--and in the tradition of the best teachers--to learn from students. His passion for creativity, learning and thinking for oneself animates both the professor and his establishment. He is also known as the rapper behind the popular "Hey Kid".

C. The second floor classroom/performance space seats up to 60. Speakers are invited with an eye on bringing new ideas forth in unique ways, for example having rappers Kou Chou Ching giving a combination lecture/performance free to the public. Classes are also held here, including English classes.
