This combined cafe/bar/shop/repair garage--located on a quiet stretch just outside Fengyuan--truly feels like something you'd find along America's famed Route 66, from the shotgun door handle and vintage motor oil signs and ads to the antique Coca-Cola fridge and American country-and-western radio background music. The owners, who started with a repair garage and love vintage two and four wheeled vehicles of all sorts, opened this hang-out for the motorcyclists, bicyclists and other drivers that come down the road. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by S. Ying

A. At night, customers also enjoy outside seating.

B. The cozy interior has seating for about 20 and various items for sale, including leather riding jackets, T-shirts, footwear and other gear. There's no food but there is a good selection of beers, coffees, juices and imported American sodas.

C. Also all-American is the barn-like garage next door, filled with customers' and the owners' classic motorcycles and bicycles. The genuine Canadian elk head on the wall may be the only one of its kind in Taiwan.
