558, FuXing Rd, Xitun Dist; (04) 2452-3997
Hours: 2 pm-12 am (closed Tue)

With a quiet location in the busy Fengjia Night Market, this cafe has some unique features, including a modified bicycle cafe on wheels and the use of attractive, traditional Taiwanese bowls to serve coffee in--an aesthetically-pleasing combination. Owner David aims to introduce his customers to specialty coffees, versus common commercial varieties and chains like Starbucks. He notes that good, authentic coffee is worth savoring slowly, as aromas and flavors linger in your mouth while you try a Cafe Latte (NT$90), Dan Man Cappuccino (NT$80), or delicately-flavored single-shot manual drip coffee. --By Uvia Chang, translated by Alicia Yu

A. D.M Cafe's self-roasted Cocoa de Veronia earned top awards from the International Institute of Coffee Tasters (IIAC) in 2013 and 2015. Exuding a slight bitterness, strong aromas in the mouth and the sweetness of chocolate, an Espresso (NT$50/cup) lingers in the memory.

B. Coffee-Flavored Rice with Minced Pork Sauce (NT$50/bowl) features very unique coffee flavors.

C. David completely focuses when preparing manual drip coffee.
