Contrasting the many western-style brunch places and restaurants, this Taiwanese-style brunch cafe offers a local '80s-style vibe and traditional cuisine--part of the owner's desire to transmit the beauty of Taiwan to the next generation. The recommended Five Color Vegetables Minced Meat Noodles (NT$120) resembles the common stir-fried noodles all over the island, but are light and non-oily with boiled vegetables and savory meat. "Shuan Ko Pan Guo Bao" (NT$100) is a Taiwanese-style burger filled with savory, aromatic broiled pork belly. Every dish here comes with Taiwan-grown fruit and organic soup. There are at least five fresh fruits served with handmade caramel sauce as dessert. The base of the Mulberry Mousse (NT$80) is sweet glutinous rice instead of cookies--another example of the great-tasting Taiwanese dishes here.
