Several types of classic, handmade European bikes and frames can be seen inside of Brovo Cafe, including rare vintage racing bikes from the Giro d'Italia and Le Tour de France, as well as customized steel-framed bikes that can be ordered and purchased at the cafe. The owner also can offer detailed information about the bikes' history and design. The recommended Chicken Sandwich with Hot Mayo (NT$140), seasoned with Thai spices, includes thick slices of grilled chicken and cheese, while the Grilled Cheese with Smoked Beef and Egg (pictured, NT$150) comes with German sauerkraut, mustard, cheddar cheese on the side, and an organic hydroponic vegetable salad topped with Italian vinegar. Both sandwiches are served on handmade bread. The refreshing Taffy Banana Smoothie (pictured, NT$130) is made with both fresh and dehydrated bananas, and blended with taffy syrup. An Italian Latte (NT$100) can also be savored while you enjoy and appreciate the fine work of the bikes. --By Alice Chang, translated by Anna Yang
