Rex and Brighton own this highly-recommended bagel shop, serving trans-fat-free meals without oily fried items and artificial food additives. This approach to offering quality fare and ingredients has earned it the trust of its customers and a well-known positive reputation. The filling meal pictured (top left) is Cherry Duck with Wine Vinegar and Apple (NT$330), which includes a chewy bagel, handmade tofu, iced sweet potato, French style baked eggs, and salad. The succulent, sweet duck itself is also raised in Hualien. Mofan Bagels' Salad (NT$190) consists of boiled vegetables and a dipping sauce, topped with crunchy, seasoned bagel slices, tender smoked salmon, and cheese. This light, refreshing dish tastes even better during the hot months of summer.
