Ho's Coffee Shop

0985-181-540
3-6, XiMen Lane, DongLan Rd, Dongshi Dist
Hours: 9 am-6 pm (closed Mon)

This homey cafe is hidden in a quiet neighborhood near the Dongfeng Bikeway. The brunch meal set provides handmade bread every day. The cafe only offers freshly baked bread on Wednesday and Friday, and even the simple white loaf (NT$90) is made with care and attention. Single origin estate-grown coffees (NT$95-250) can be enjoyed with an all-you-can-drink offer (NT$180) with other options including an extra-large Latte (NT$180) served in a plain pottery bowl. For those wanting to add some flavoring to their coffee, there are caramel sauce and vanilla syrup, handmade with natural ingredients. Recommended desserts here are Tiramisu (NT$130) with its ice cream-like texture, the Assorted Chocolate Plate (NT$130-220), made with Kalisa cocoa beans, and rich Chocolate Lava Cake (NT$130). --By Chloe Chang, translated by Anna Yang
