HWC Roasters

(04) 2260-5882
371, GaoGong Rd, South Dist
Hours: 11 am-9 pm

There aren't many cafe owners who would travel overseas to pick, roast and taste coffee beans, like the one here has. Twelve SCA certified professional roasters oversee every step of the process and quality control when purchasing beans, thereby ensuring that customers can savor flavorful cups of single-origin coffee. The most popular LaMula--winner of the 2017 BOP (Best of Panama) award--costs NT$14,000 per pound (NT$180/300 gram) and offers a smooth taste with citrus undertones and herbal aromas. A variety of drip-bag coffees (NT$10-NT$350) are offered in addition to beans from over 10 countries such as Panama, Brazil, Columbia and Nicaragua, with flavors and other details helpfully noted on each bag. The shop also serves iced latte drinks decorated with latte art and sparkling water.--By Anna Li, translated by Anna Yang
